United methodist higher education foundation (UMHEF)
The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation has opened applications for scholarships to help fund the 2026-2027 school year for United Methodist students hoping to attend a United Methodist-related college or seminary. Every year, the foundation awards up to $2 million in scholarships.
General board of higher education and ministry (GBHEM) scholarships
GBHEM Scholarships offers financial aid to United Methodist students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. Every year, an average of $4 million is awarded to help students in the United States and abroad pursue their dreams through higher education.
2026 Ethnic young adult (EYA) internship
The EYA Program is an eight-week program during the summer session of June and July. EYA interns gain practical professional experience with a Church and Society staff member while engaging deeply with concepts of justice and spiritual practices through a weekly cohort program.

The forum for theological exploration (FTE)
FTE is a leadership incubator that inspires young people to make a difference through Christian communities. FTE is committed to supporting faithful leaders, organizations, and institutions who are courageously shaping and designing a more hopeful future.
hispanic scholarship fund (hsf) scholars program
HSF awards more than $30 million in scholarships annually. Depending upon available funds and participation in HSF’s Fund A Scholar Program, HSF Scholars may also be eligible to receive a scholarship, which range from $500-$5,000 and are awarded directly to students. The HSF Scholar Program is open to students of all races who identify as being of Hispanic heritage.
