Accompanying immigrant Christian families Across generations

ABOUT

Funded through a $1.25 million grant from Lily Endowment Inc., the Accompanying Immigrant Families Across Generations project helps strengthen the parenting practices of Christian immigrants from Latin America and the Carribean, addressing linguistic, cultural, generational, and technological gaps. Through the program, parents are better equipped to participate in their children’s Christian formation while deepening their relationship with their church leaders.

PHASE 1

In Phase 1, we are hosting monthly Listening Circles in 15 pilot churches to gather information about families’ parenting needs and what resources we might provide. As these Listening Circles continue, with interdisciplinary support from the Boston University School of Theology, we are developing workshops to directly address those needs.
